Mental Health Rehabilitation Service
Seacroft, Leeds
£12.77 Per Hour - 36 Hours a week
Active Pathways are currently recruiting for a compassionate Head Housekeeper Cook to join Millcroft in Seacroft, Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team ensuring the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.
Working 8am - 6pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
This is an incredibly varied and rewarding role as you will be helping people in your local area to improve their quality of life, achieve their goals and make a positive difference. Your role as a House Keeper / Cook is dynamic and meaningful. You will ensure high quality housekeeping and cooking. You will supervise the housekeeper/ cook team to contribute to a seamless function to the service and the care and operational effectiveness of the home. You will also manage the cleaning standards, including specialist knowledge and adhering to the latest Health & Safety, COSHH and infection control procedures.

Our ideal Head Housekeeper Cook:
• Work in partnership to achieve service objectives and promote a positive climate and culture of working together through good communication, openness, honesty, and respect.
• Promote positive working relationships with team colleagues in order to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Exercise good personal time management, punctuality, and consistent reliable attendance.
Desired experience:
• Knowledge and experience of working within a health and social care setting
• Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas, as well as a knowledge of managing and running a team
• Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks
